…..because I get to change the date it processes every.single.month. Why do I love that? Because depending on my paycheck, a new bill or my husband’s bonuses, we can move the date to what’s most convenient for us!

Super Easy DIY Cloth Baby Wipes

Happy Monday! Did you know I started using cloth diapers on Caleb a couple months ago? We’re loving it! I love that we’re using less chemicals, easier on the environment, and they are better for his skin!

DIY Cloth Wipes

But then, we ran into a problem. What do we do about wipes? You’ll have to have a separate bag for the disposable wipes and the cloth diapers….and it just wasn’t fun! So, my friend who taught me all about cloth diapers helped me out with making my own wipes. It’s so cheap, easy and chemical free!

You’ll need:

24 baby washclothes

Wipe container

Epsom salts

Young Living Lavender Oil

Water

Quart Jar

Directions:

Mix 6-10 drops of lavender oil & 2 tablespoons Epsom salts in a quart jar. Slowly add 2 cups hot water and stir until dissolved. Put 6 washcloths in the bottom of the wipe container, then pour 1/2 cup of the mixture over the 6 washcloths. Continue with the rest of the washcloths. You might have to play around with the amount of water for your desired “wetness” of the wipes.

Wipes

It’s that quick, easy & affordable!

And now through June 30, 2016, the Premium Starter Kit (which includes lavender!) is 10% off! You can sign up HERE, or learn more HERE.

Hannah Diane

Lemon Blueberry Muffins

Happy Thursday, y’all! Did you check out my post on Caleb’s “must-haves” for teething? There are some winners in there for sure! I wanted to let you in on a little secret…Sara and I have teamed up on Instagram to give away a Teething Toy & Teething Lovey and a 5mL Lavender oil! So head over there now to enter!

Today I want to share with you a muffin recipe I whip up if I want to make Luke really happy. It combines two of his favorite things….lemon and blueberries! Plus, it’s perfect for Spring (or to have for an Easter Brunch!) and they are so pretty!

Lemon Blueberry Muffins

Plus, I add a little secret ingredient to it….Lemon oil! But what’s so cool is that Young Living came out with the Vitality line, which means it’s FDA approved to use internally! Yayyyy!!

Lemon Vitality

So, without further ado, here’s the recipe….

Ingredients:
1.5 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup frozen blueberries (or fresh, I use frozen)
1 egg
1 cup milk (I used 1/2 goats milk and 1/2 almond milk)
10 drops of Lemon Vitality

Directions:
Mix by hand all together. Do not beat. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy the lemon-y goodness!

What’s a favorite snack during the Spring for y’all? Who else is super excited about the weekend? We have a wedding to go to, so that’ll be fun!

DIY Pregnancy “Belly Oil”

Everyone knows that with pregnancy comes stretching, changing skin. It’s no fun- even if it is for a good cause….like growing a precious little baby. Today I want to share with you how I make my own belly oil to rub into my stretching skin twice a day. It’s so wonderful!

DIY Pregnancy Belly Oil

For this DIY oil, you are going to need a jar to store your mixture in, coconut oil, Young Living’s Lavender Oil, and Young Living’s Gentle Baby oil.

This is a super easy recipe! First, you want to scoop (or pour, if it is warm) the coconut oil into your jar. Depending on the size of your jar, add 5-10 drops of each essential oil. Mix well. If your coconut oil is staying liquid and you want a more “cream” feeling, keep the mixture in the refrigerator. Runny oil doesn’t bother me, so I just keep it on the bathroom counter. This mixture of oils is SO wonderful for healthy skin!

Have you ever made your own belly oil? What did you do for stretching pregnancy skin?

Sincerely,
Hannah Diane

My Best Friends for Working Out

Happy Friday, everyone! It’s been a while since I posted a Fitness Friday post, but I thought I would change it up a bit. Today, I want to share with you two must-haves when it comes to working out. Even though I am into my third trimester, I’m still trying to work out at least a couple times a week.

My Best Friends for Working Out

Deep Relief– anyone who has tried this oil loves it. It was formulated to use for massage after activity. Peppermint, Wintergreen, Copaiba, Helichrysum, Dorado Azul, and other essential oils each play an integral role in this blend. Deep Relief Roll-On has an invigorating and energizing scent, and offers a convenient method of application for forehead, temples, and neck anytime, anywhere it’s needed.

Fitness by Oola– this blend has been specially formulated to uplift, energize, and give you the inspiration to set and achieve your strength and fitness goals. I love putting it on before I work out- I just apply it to my wrists and start working out!

Do you have any must-haves for working out?

Sincerely,
Hannah Diane

Perfect Oils for a Wedding

Getting stressed about the wedding? Worried about getting sick? Just generally panic-y? Planning your wedding is a wonderful, fun time, but it’s also a crazy and stressful time. Today I want to share with you some oils that helped me leading up to the wedding, and during the wedding. 🙂

The Perfect Oils for a Wedding

Tranquil, Peace & Calming and Grounding- what do the names sound like? Well, that’s what they’re for! Ha. Peace and Calming has such a sweet smell and is so calming. Tranquil was so helpful for stressful situations, and Grounding helped keep me level headed and remembering it’s the marriage after the wedding that’s really important. 🙂

Release- At one point or another someone, whether it be someone in your family, bridal party, or future family, is going to be to have something negative to say (or do!). Putting this oil on, taking a deep breath, and asking the Lord for strength and forgiveness can help turn a situation around.

Valor- this oil was perfect for the wedding day! Everyone- mother of the bride, mother of the groom, my bridesmaids, me {the bride!}, and my groom all put this oil on our wrists to help keep our emotions in check, keep us calm and give us courage. Ha!

Thieves- okay, so who wants to get sick the week of the wedding- or the day of? Um, no one. My husband and I both used Thieves religiously the weeks leading up to our wedding and during our honeymoon. Nothing’s worse than getting sick on your honeymoon. We’re SO thankful for this oil!
