Spiced Banana Muffins

Yum! Who doesn’t like banana muffins? Okay….I usually don’t. I’m not a banana fan. But, these muffins have a secret ingredient. It makes them so yummy and so healthy! Do you know why? Because the secret ingredient is Young Living Thieves Vitality oil! It is amazing at supporting your immune system. The oils that make up Thieves are clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, and rosemary. Pretty amazing stuff, huh? How can you get a bottle of it? We’ll get to that…after the recipe! 🙂

Spiced Banana Muffins

3 Cups wheat flour

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

3/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp cinnamon

6 drops of Thieves Vitality oil

3 eggs

2 cups mashed bananas

1 cup sugar

6 tbsp oil

Mix the first 4 ingredients, then set aside. Beat the rest of the ingredients, then add the flour mixture. Mix well. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen.

These are some of our FAVORITE muffins! Luke always asks me to make them, and they are my go-to breakfast when the bananas are starting to turn brown. They freeze super well, so make the big batch, then be able to eat them when you need them! I love doing that with muffins.

Now… how can you get some Thieves Vitality oil? You can sign up for Young Living and get a bottle of Thieves Vitality (plus 10 more oils and a diffuser!) at a discounted price. If you sign up through me {1535338} with a Premium Starter Kit you will get access to our online community, lots of resources and free goodies! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Do you like banana muffins? What are some of your favorite fall flavors?

  4. These muffins look tasty and perfect for fall!

Just curious…do you have to be careful what oils you consume? I know that eucalyptus can be an oil that you need to be careful with for children. I have read mixed messages on eating/drinking oils so I was just wondering. Thank you!

    • Good question! That’s what I love about Young Living! They have a vitality line which is for perfectly safe oils to ingest- they are bottled and labeled that way. I have taken almost all of that line internally with no problem and both of my sisters-in-law have used them internally on their kids no problem! 🙂
